Riding Lessons

Riding lessons are available to people of all ages and riding levels, specializing in teaching beginning riders a foundation for correct horsemanship.  To me, correct horsemanship is much more that sitting pretty in the saddle, it also involves reacting with your horse!  Through the development of horsemanship, many other "life-skills" are built: self-confidence, discipline, leadership, just to name a few. Training

I specialize in providing a foundation to young horses and starting horses under saddle, however, I can train towards several different disciplines.  I have been training horses for 20 years, and I believe in building a foundation of trust with our horses.  It is much better to have a horse willing and wanting to please you, as opposed to doing a task out of fear.  Horses in training are rode 6 times per week, and owners are encouraged to schedule visits during a ride time to view their horses' progress.  Current training fee is $550 for 30 days, including board.  I only train a limited number of horses each month, so spots fill up quickly.  Please call or email for availability, more information, or to come visit!
